Equipment & IT
The Barn has Wifi and we can supply a projector (HDMI connection only) and freestanding screen. A flip chart is also available on request.
Both the upper and lower floor meeting rooms include a kitchenette complete with freestanding oven & hob, fridge (without freezer compartment), kettle, water heater, pots, pans, cutlery & crockery. The upstairs kitchen also includes a microwave oven.
The ground floor of the Barn comprises a meeting space 6×3.5m, with open plan access to a kitchenette and a small library / break out space adjacent. Doors on both sides lead to lobby / entrances and access to the grounds. The plans here give an indication of possible layouts and typical uses. It’s also used for meetings, discussion groups and as a dining area.
Upstairs, a free floor area of 5.5×5.8m allows for a range of activities, with seating comfortable for 30. A flexible teaching space, the room is suitable for lectures, workshops, group discussions or activities involving limited movement such as singing or yoga. With a kitchenette, dormitory and bathroom, the upper floor also doubles as affordable accommodation for attendees of events or courses held in the Barn. Overnight spaces can be booked individually by participants; alternatively the whole floor may be reserved by event organisers if desired for overnight use.
