Facilities for daytime use

We are not currently taking bookings for the use of the premises due to staff shortages.  Please check in with this site in the near future for updates.

Whether you’re planning a creative workshop, staff away day, family gathering or taught course, the flexible spaces in the Barn may be just what you need.  Get in touch to let us know any specific requirements – we’ll be happy to help in any way we can.

Equipment & IT

The Barn has Wifi and a freestanding screen for use with your own projector.  A flip chart is also available on request.

Kitchenette

The lower floor meeting room includes a kitchenette complete with freestanding oven & hob, fridge (without freezer compartment), kettle, water heater, pots, pans, cutlery & crockery.

Lower floor

The ground floor of the Barn comprises a meeting space 6×3.5m, with open plan access to a kitchenette and a small library / break out space adjacent.  Doors on both sides lead to lobby / entrances and access to the grounds.  The plans here give an indication of possible layouts and typical uses.  It’s also used for meetings, discussion groups and as a dining area.

The Meeting House

The main room of the Meeting House has approximately 4x6m free floor space, with a fixed bench and raised platform with additional benches along one side, and shuttered panels opposite.

Behind the panels is a small room of around 3.5x6m free floor space.  The panels may be raised to create a partially divided space.  Above the small room is a gallery floor.

The ground floor of the Meeting House may comfortably seat 50 people utilising the freestanding and fixed platform benches.  The gallery may seat 25, with limited visibility.

The piano may be used by arrangement.
